Sunday and the Truth

so i was rushing over to taka to meet some of the canoeing ppl for lunch when i saw this guy:









i stopped to watched, forgetting whatever i was supposed to do. looking at his signboard, he taught me everything i needed to know there and then and he didn't even have to say anything. he's found his own way of life and a meaning to live. i wonder what mine will be.

so anyway, today was national vertical marathon day, had to climb a bunch of stairs to reach the top of some republic plaza where they served the finishers with ACTIVADE, in my opinion a really disgusting coconut juice energy drink. had some faith in getting something out of the competition and we did. canoe team is in top ten for jc challenge yayzz. oh yea KINGKONGJANE was a really decent cover band. too bad the audience was almost non-existent.

listened to the oscar peterson trio on the way home, some freaking amazing jazz playing in there. reached home, baked some pasta which i had gotten from the goodie bag. tasted okay. and here i am.

err so can i have some of those PANCAKES?

i told myself i would sleep early today.

No.

only tues and i'm already getting tired of the week.

oh and i've discovered that over the past few years, i've managed to CHANGE people's lives. like i influenced them and stuff and how they view the world. i wonder if that's good or bad. oh well whatever rocks their boat.

veggie delight

believe it or not, i embarked on a vegetarian diet a week ago.
although i've already broken it a few days ago the idea is still there. ya. idea is what's important. gonna eat more greens. and i don't care what they say.

woke up with freaking painful sunburn. gonna start putting sunblock during training from next week onwards. we've always called han ming the wuss for rubbing on his bottle of banana boat everytime but he's just being the smart one.

my template is horizontally challenged and probably won't fit this properly but here's a thought:

this is my new les paul. really cool colour and finish but tone is quite a disappointment, especially on OD which produces fuzzy crap. It's the same model as tom, also made in china, but i don't think i'm gonna keep it for long. =/
